I bought these melting candies called "Candy Melt" and they come in a bunch of different colors and flavors. It got me thinking since this is now my "twinny" and my blog it would only be fitting to put a recipe up that we used to do all the time after school sitting on my kitchen floor.
Chocolate covered pretzels
1 bag of Candy melts (any flavor and color your heart desires)
1 bag of pretzel sticks
Follow the melting directions on the back of the candy melt bag, then start dipping 3/4 of the pretzel in, sometimes using a spoon to coat as far as you need. Place on wax paper or cookie sheet, and before it sets you can add sprinkles for the holiday. Let them cool and set up hard, then enjoy!
We use to make these with regular nestle chocolate morsels, but when you melt that and let it sit, it wont harden. (I would put them in the freezer to harden the chocolate, but it doesn't stay hard, it was a temporary fix. Now i have lived and learned and use candy melts.
