Sesame-Teriyaki Sea Bass
four 4-oz fresh or frozen fish fillets, 1/2 to 3/4 in thick
1/4 tsp pepper
3 tbs soy sauce
1/4 cup sweet rice wine or mirin
2 tsp honey
2 tsp cooking oil
2 tsp sesame seeds
Step 1
Thaw fish, if frozen. Rinse and pat dry. Sprinkle with pepper.Step 2
Glaze prep: In a small saucepan combine soy sauce, mirin/wine, and honey. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes. Allow to thicken, if you want.Step 3
While preparing sauce, fry fish in hot oil over a medium heat until golden and flaky. Drain on paper towels.Step 4
To serve, put fillets on a plate and drizzle with sauce. Enjoy!
I'm not even a fish eating person, and that sounds yummy.
