Things every house should have...

So, as I sit in my "office/guest bedroom," I'm pondering what things every household should have. As the only house I've lived in has been my parents, and a dorm room for college, I am at a loss. However, I have a hunch of what things I need as of right now.

Furniture. That's a huge on. Gordon and I have no furniture other than a bed and a small card table. I'm not complaining because I know what I want, and it's just a matter of actually getting it. And though we don't have it, I don't necessary need it yet. I just would prefer to have it so my house felt more home-y. Can't complain. It will happen eventually.

Little things. We have a few tools, such as a hammer and screwdrivers, but I think we may need a few more. I don't know exactly, but we'll see.

A pet. Ok, that one's just for me. I don't like being alone in the house when he's not around. I guess it, like the furniture, will happen in time. Just a matter of waiting.
